C. S. Giscombe is a poet whose most recent poetry book, Negro Mountain, was heralded by the New York Times as one of the five collections that constituted "The Best Poetry of 2023." Giscombe is now in the midst of two new poetry book projects -- working titles are "Railroad Sense" and "Medicine Book / The Book of Monsters."
