"A Room Full Of Voices"—that's 24 hours of music and lyrics by female artists—poetic, moving, controversial, and feminist!

Embedded in social and artistic issues of our time, pianist Fidan Aghayeva-Edler, together with Nina Guo (soprano) and Mareike Hein (actress, visual artist), presents more than 300 pieces by 115 female composers, including 20 world premieres.

In Piano Marathon Vol. 2: "A Room Full of Voices," pianist Fidan Aghayeva-Edler invites you for the second time after 2024 to a unique 24-hour classical music adventure. Together with director Teresa Reiber, they create an echo chamber that highlights the music, literature, and art of women. With literary and discursive texts from the avant-garde of the 20th and 21st centuries, with quotations from manifestos and correspondence, with poetry and statements written by the composers themselves, and inspired by performance artists such as Marina Abramovic, Yoko Ono, and Meredith Monk, equipped with voice, pen, paint, and their own bodies, the artists enter into a dialogue with the composers and their works—and with the audience. Mind map and artwork, performance and concert: the audience is invited to experience and help shape this space "full of voices" for 24 hours.
