Exchange with Daniela Billig, Member of the House of Representatives, Alliance 90/The Greens

#BerlinIsCulture: This was the motto of the meeting on May 15, 2025, with Daniela Billig, deputy chair of the Green Party faction in the Berlin House of Representatives, spokesperson for culture, spokesperson for monument preservation and ecological neighborhood development, and Georgia Haubrock, cultural advisor to the Green Party faction, with Isabel Schubert, artistic director at Kultur Büro Elisabeth, and the new managing director, Cathrin Heinrich.  A guided tour of St. Elisabeth Church and Villa Elisabeth was followed by a discussion on cultural promotion, sustainability, and historic preservation. The Elisabeth ensemble, comprising the villa and the Schinkel church, has been very well received by both the independent scene and established cultural institutions and has enormous potential as an anchor point for culture in Berlin-Mitte.
