Three experts of baroque music dare to perform the holy grail of harpsichord music: the Goldberg Variations - with resounding success. Surrounded by a surround installation and close to the audience, they walk through the cosmos of Bach's variations, deeply sad and comical, and show how vividly these compositions can be heard. Johann Sebastian Bach's "Goldberg Variations," a cycle consisting of 30 variations, are among his best-known works.
