<p>KONTRAKLANG invited Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop to put selected chamber music by Ernstalbrecht Stiebler and Ana Maria Avram in dialogue. The pioneer of slow musical movements and the grande dame of spectalism each developed highly individual musical languages, especially apparent when listened to back-to-back.</p>

Quartetto basso (2019, UA) for violin, 2 cellos and double bass
Trio (2019, UA) for 3 cellos
DUO 4, Parallelen (2007) for violoncello and double bass
Dazwischen Klavierstücke aus dem Zyklus Moments musicaux tonals und eine neues Klavierstück (UA)

Ana Maria Avram:
Axe VII (1997) for double bass solo
Nouvelle Axe (1997) for string quartet
Axe (1997) for violoncello solo
