The Boulangerie combines concert and salon, building a bridge between the traditional repertoire of chamber music and the music of today. Each event is dedicated to a contemporary composer who is present during the concert and talks with the three musicians of the Boulanger Trio about his or her work - this time the Austrian composer Johannes Maria Staud, with whom the trio has a long-standing collaboration. Also joining the trio will be the principal clarinetist of the SWR Symphony Orchestra, Sebastian Manz, one of the trio's favorite chamber music partners. To conclude the evening, the dialogue between artists and audience will continue over baguettes and wine.
