In spring 2022 the composer Wolfgang Rihm and with him the music world will celebrate his 70th birthday. The three musicians join the birthday round with a program of "fantastic strange scenes": The rarely performed "Phantasiestücke" by Robert Schumann are interwoven and downright "verrückt" with Wolfgang Rihm's self-proclaimed "Versuche für Klaviertrio". In diesen Stücken wird mit an Schumann erinnernden Gesten und Fast-Zitaten gespielt.
