Quantum Clarinet Trio - Release Concert
5 pm
chamber music | release concert

In addition to the most famous work for their instrumentation, the Trio for Clarinet, Violoncello and Piano op. 114 by Johannes Brahms, the Quantum Clarinet Trio also presents two works by less well-known composers on its debut CD, the Serenade by Robert Kahn and the Trio by Carl Frühling. The composers, chosen not by chance, are closely connected to Brahms through their lives and through their tonal language. In addition, having lived a generation after Brahms, they were both directly affected by the prohibition of their music by the National Socialists due to their Jewish origins. In this concert the Quantum Clarinet Trio will present the CD program for the first time after its release.
