Since 2019 the AsianArt Ensemble organizes the successful workshop now in the third edition. After the first part of the workshop in May 2021, seven selected composers of six different nationalities had 8 months to compose a work for the AsianArt Ensemble. In the meantime, there was a lively exchange between the composers and interpreters of the AsianArt Ensemble, so that all technical problems were solved in advance and the parts should be more suitable for the instruments than ever.

All composers will be present, each introducing themselves before their work and saying a few words about their work.

Program:
Rafael Borges Amaral: Melemele 'ele'ele for Daegeum. Sheng, Gayageum, Janggu, violin, viola and double bass.
Anastasios Savvapoulos: Chiasma for sheng, double bass, percussion, daegeum, janggu and gayageum
Daniel Sorgatz: Narrow Paths through Light of Green for daegeum, sheng, gayageum, koto, vibraphone, viola and double bass
