Twenty years after the rediscovery of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach's Matthäus-Passion, the Sing-Akademie will perform the work for the first time together with the Lautten Compagney. On the occasion of the 300th birthday of the poet Anna Louisa Karsch, there will be an introduction at 6:30 p.m., devoted especially to the work of the "German Sappho," her poems and her libretto.
